Everything Starts with 1 David & Tina Long, who were featured in the movie, "Bully" and who spoke to Northwood-Kensett HS students in the fall of 2012 made a guide for students who are being bullied with the help & feedback of the N-K Viking Way group. It provides students with ways that they can improve the situation themselves. It also includes a quiz so that you can gauge your preparedness when it comes to dealing with cyberbullies Iowa Safe Schools Iowa Safe Schools is government-funded program in Iowa that works to eliminate bullying, especially in LGBTQ youth. They monitor bullying incidents throughout Iowa, and also support LGBTQ youth in other ways. Services provided include assistance in finding/founding support groups in your area, providing Professional Development, conferences & education on the topics of bullying, discrimination, & LGBTQ students. |
